OUR PROGRAMS

HiSET / GED

English and Spanish speaking residents of Clinton County meet weekly to prepare for their High School Equivalency (HiSET) test (currently called the HiSET exam and formerly known as the GED/HSE exam)

ENGLISH SECOND LANGUAGE

Learning a new language can be challenging. The Learning Network offers a comprehensive leveled English learning program for adults in both the mornings (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and evenings (5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) on Mondays and Wednesdays. Our teachers and program coordinators help you stay motivated to improve your communication in English reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. Students start with registration, orientation, placement testing and digital literacy class before they begin attending their assigned English class.

DRIVER'S EDUCATION CLASS

Need help studying for the multiple-choice, computer based driver's test? We offer classes to go over the material that will be on the exam and help you practice to succeed. Classes are offered both in Spanish and English.

VENTANILLA DE ORIENTACION EDUCATIVE

The Ventanilla Orientacion Educativa (VOE), also known as the education portal in English,  is a space in the Mexican Consulate of Indianapolis’s office dedicated to dispersing information on educational opportunities existing in both the United States and Mexico.

CLINTON COUNTY MINORITY
HEALTH COALITION

Indiana Minority Health addresses health disparities through research, training, education, and advocacy, for better access to quality health care services for the low income and underserved. Educational sessions, screenings, and other health interventions help minimize the risk for heart disease, obesity, diabetes and other health conditions that can inhibit your ability to lead a long, productive life.

Citizenship Class

The Learning Network can give you the boost you need to get you to the path to citizenship! Join our classes filled with information on how to be prepared for your test and interview along with how to succeed as a new citizen. Our classes cover anything you'll need to know about taking the Citizenship test, including filling out the N-400 form, studying for the civics questions, and practicing your conversational English skills. All levels of English are welcomed as we also help you improve your English.

PL@ZA COMUNITARIA

A program that with the support of the Mexican Consulate of Indianapolis and INEA (National Institute for Adult Education) offers the necessary courses so that Mexican nationals can receive their primary (elementary school) and/or secondary (middle school) education certificates – so they can finish their education where they left off.

Technology Today!
