CLINTON COUNTY ADULT EDUCATION
English and Spanish speaking residents of Clinton County meet weekly to prepare for their High School Equivalency (HiSET) test (currently called the HiSET exam and formerly known as the GED/HSE exam)
ENGLISH SECOND LANGUAGE
Learning a new language can be challenging. At our office we offer English classes where adults test into either basic, intermediate or advanced level classes to accommodate to their needs. Our teachers and program coordinators help you stay motivated to improve your communication in English day by day. Students start with orientation and digital literacy class before they can start attending classes.
DRIVER'S EDUCATION CLASS
Need help studying for the multiple-choice, computer based driver's test? We offer classes to go over the material that will be on the exam and help you practice to succeed. Classes are offered both in Spanish and English.
VENTANILLA DE ORIENTACION EDUCATIVE
The Educational Orientation Window (VOE) is a space in the Consulates dedicated to educational opportunities existing in the United States and Mexico, in order to strengthen integration with the societies that interact with Mexicans abroad.
CLINTON COUNTY MINORITY HEALTH COALITION
Indiana Minority Health addresses health disparities through research, training, education, and advocacy, for better access to quality health care services for the low income and underserved. Educational sessions, screenings, and other health interventions help minimize the risk for heart disease, obesity, diabetes and other health conditions that can inhibit your ability to lead a long, productive life.
DOLLY PARTON IMAGINATION LIBRARY
A FREE BOOK GIFTING PROGRAM: Each month, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails a high quality, age appropriate book to all registered children, addressed to them, at no cost to the child’s family. Countless parents have shared how excited their child is when their new book arrives each month. Many groups and individuals work hard behind the scenes to make that special moment possible for each child.
A program that with the support of the Consulate of Mexico in Indianapolis and INEA (National Institute for Adult Education) offers the necessary courses so that Mexican nationals can receive their primary and/or secondary education certificate.
