To register for a class, event, or program, you must obtain a student account. Once you are registered as a Learning Network student, you may purchase classes and sign up for events and programs. This class will be a facilitated, online class, in which students will have live instruction on Monday evenings (according to the schedule below) while enrolled in Ed2Go’s Speed Spanish I course. We will work through these online lessons during the facilitated instruction on Mondays and practice our speaking skills as they directly relate to the content. If you’re unable to participate in a few of the Monday evening classes, you can make up the lessons online (according to the following schedule). Myself, as well as the online professor Dan Mikels, are available to answer questions or help you troubleshoot any technical problems/questions you may encounter. The cost for the class is the usual $125 fee—the fee for the Ed2Go class (our technology coordinator will enroll you in the online class once your fee is paid) is included in tuition. The Speed Spanish I course through Ed2Go offers 12 online lessons in addition to the eight sessions I’ll be teaching as live instruction. Anyone who has already taken an adult advanced Spanish class here at Purdue Extension’s Learning Network, but would like to take this one as a refresher, only needs to pay the $79 Ed2Go fee. Either choice is a great deal—nearly doubling your instructional hours! I hope you’re able to take advantage of this opportunity.
